My opinion: 5 stars out of 5.
Callie Smith Grant collected over thirty horse stories in this book, to share the experience of healing, bond, and life between human and horses.
I like horses: to look at them, to stroke their fur, to drive in the cart while being shaken by bumpy roads…. all the great memories of the childhood. But I have a secret to share, riding on the back of the horse was the obstacle to me… scared and overwhelmed…
I enjoyed the stories in the book, because they depict horses in more than a racing trophies, displaying the skills to dribble and trout; more than chasing creations, wild and untamed… they feel, they react, they are herd animals who responsible to protect each other, to look after one another, to snuggle and communicate through touches… they have so much to teach humanity to be connected, trusting, and kind.
