My opinion: 5 stars out of 5.
Reading Bible can be jeopardized with many issues in the daily life of Christians, not enough time, too hard to understand, what’s the application of the verse for my life today… are the questions I’ve asked. And did skip reading the Scriptures. But the Word of God shouldn’t be ignored, nor shouldn’t be skimmed.
It’s the Living Word that gives life, and as much a person spends on the Word, allowing the life to come and work in him or her, that’s how much strength and life is at work inside the inner man.
Tyndale team tried to give an illustrated Bible that would be great for study at the personal level or as a corporation in Bible Study group. I love references and maps in the book. It loaded with information about the subjects that many Christians have questions about.
It a thick book, and I just started to explore it. But even on the first page of Genesis, there is a chart illustration showing how God was creating the Universe, and what day was connected to what. The first day He created the Heavens (the place, atmosphere) and in day 4 He filled with stars, moon and sun. Then in day 2 water and sky were formed, and in day 5 the birds and fish inhabited their places of environment. On day 3, God was working on Earth and the land, preparing the place for His crowning creations to live and be prosperous, and day 6 presented the finishing touches of God’s great creations, animals and human. It was the time when they had their first breaths that day, and then God rested on day 7 to spend time with His creations….Marvelous.
