In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day  by Mark Batterson.

Little description: Your greatest regret at the end of your life will be the lions you didn’t chase. You will look back longingly on risks not taken, opportunities not seized, and dreams not pursued. Stop running away from what scares you most and start chasing the God-ordained opportunities that cross your path. In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day is inspired by one of the most obscure yet courageous acts recorded in Scripture, a blessed and audacious act that left no regrets: “Benaiah chased a lion down into a pit. Then, despite the snow and slippery ground, he caught the lion and killed it” (2 Samuel 23:20 -21). Unleash the lion chaser within!

My thoughts: 5 stars out of 5

Wow! Mark Batterson challenge you to a new lifestyle as a lion chaser. With the revelation about beast chasers, Mark expands your ability to switch from the survival mode to a living a abundant life. Being dangerous, impossible and great are things God created us to thrive…Big cats are the big opportunity for us to show of the power and greatness of God.. Are we going to lose with trembling legs and keep the glory away due to Almighty God, or are we going to leap with a roar along the mighty Lion of Judah?

The message is very inspiring. It’s still challenge me to do something about the life God gave to me, which is not a comfortable thing. But it’s not the comfort we are talking here, it’s the snowy pit with a lion. No space for comfort, fear, but only to overcome this menacing attack and come out victorious!

When you are in a pit with a lion, remember you are in a pit with a Lion of Judah who is inside of you and who is greater than a lion in front of you. Keep it real, you are the lion-chaser who has an anointing and a call for the victory!
